As you enter The Factory Ministries, each attendee will receive an experience booklet and be welcomed by our event hosts. The booklet includes an overview of the four program experiences: Building Braves, Youth Center, Adult Advocacy, and The Factory Market. We want you to experience empowerment and to be welcomed the home-like environment we have designed for community members in crisis. For those living in crisis, losing precious things like a house, car, and even friends and family is devastatingly common. Our hope is that this building is more than just a historic landmark, but a safe and stable space to experience the love and hope of Jesus amid the chaos.

In a self-guided tour, you can connect with Program Staff and/or Empowered Community Members throughout the building at tour stops and Experiences. You are invited to spend time and engage in areas that excite and inspire you!

After your self-guided tour, enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and Lancaster County treats with your neighbors and friends in the Gymnatorium! Connect further with the mission by viewing video stories of empowerment, and listening to a short word from our Executive Director, Adam Nagle, at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, or 8:00 PM. Throughout the building, there will be opportunities to give to The Factory Ministries by credit card, cash, or check, as well specific ways to engage financially with programs and people you learn about throughout the night.

FAQ'S

What’s the dress code?

This event is fun and fancy. (Read that as we want you to feel comfortable and special.) We consider this night different than other nights. So you will see our staff dressed to express that! We also want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourself! So, if you are most comfortable in jeans and t-shirt, then we think that’s what you should wear! You will find event attendees dressed in many ways.

Our staff will be dressed in slacks/jeans, button-downs/blouses or t-shirts, with or without ties, or dresses/skirts. If we had to give this event a dress category, it would be “Dressy Casual.” Or “Casual.”

Can I bring my kids?

We love kids at The Factory! They’re here regularly for pre-K, Little Braves, and Brave Kids activities. That said, this event is not designed for young kids so you might have more fun without them! But if you’re in a pickle and you can’t find childcare or if childcare cancels, bring the kiddos! We want you there!

How do I give?

We’re glad you asked! There will be several giving stations at the event to give checks or cash that night, as well as opportunities to give by credit card. This is a fundraiser! You will have specific ways you can partner financially with programs that make your heart beat and get you excited! We believe this night is an incredible opportunity to connect to the causes that God has placed on your heart.

When should I arrive?

There are two aspects of this event that we want you to experience: the self-led tour through the halls and rooms our families and participants walk everyday, and the Gymnatorium for great food, community connections, video stories, and a word from Adam. This event is a true drop-in! You can hear Adam speak in the Gymnatorium at 6pm, 7pm, or 8pm. We suggest you give yourself 30-45 minutes either before or after to tour the building.

Do I need to RSVP?

It’s very helpful for us if you do! Your RSVP allows us to have the correct amount of food, drinks, and other goodies. It passes on your contact info so that you can receive more helpful information about the event and The Factory Ministries. And if you are not registered, we won’t have a name tag printed for you (we will write one for you upon arrival.) But, even if you don’t RSVP, please come!

Where do I park?

Parking will be available Paradise Elementary School, our neighbors to the north on Belmont Road. For those who need to park closer, parking will also be available at The Factory Ministries. Parking attendants will give direction as you pull-in that night.
