Payne, Ph.D. is the founder of aha! Process and an author, speaker, publisher, and career educator. Recognized internationally for A Framework for Understanding Poverty, her foundational book and workshop, Dr. Ruby Payne has helped students and adults of all economic backgrounds achieve academic, professional, and personal success.

Ruby Payne defines poverty as “the extent to which an individual does without resources.” This is year two of our six-year-plan to address the root issues of poverty through the six areas of resource development: intellectual, physical, emotional, relational, financial, and spiritual. Our community has the resources and Cultivating Communities will give us the tools and knowledge to create long-lasting community health and sustainable growth!
