On a recent Thursday afternoon, a single mother walked through the doors of the Factory Market in Paradise for the first time. She had heard about the market from a neighbor who knew she was struggling to keep groceries on the table. With the rising cost of food, she often faced impossible choices between paying bills and feeding her family.
As she picked up fresh produce, milk and pantry staples, she seemed to relax. “It feels good to have a choice,” she told our volunteers…
