Adrienne’s journey through homelessness was difficult: spending a few nights behind Walmart, three weeks in Intercourse Park, three months in a campground, and four weeks in the home of supporter of the The Factory. During this difficult season, Adrienne was able to live 100% off of the food she purchased at The Factory Market (food pantry) with her Factory Bucks, earned through her meetings with her Advocate. Through her work with her Advocate and the Rapid Rehousing Program at The Factory Ministries, Adrienne is now housed! She remarked how she often will get up in the middle of the night, walk into the living room and just say, “This place is mine”. For the first time, Adrienne has a place of her own that is sustainable and affordable.
