Teenage years can be difficult, especially for teens in constant family crisis. Under-resourced teens struggle with loneliness and isolation. Many lack the skills necessary for adult life. Our Youth Center staff and programs empower teens to grow with practical skills, healthy relationships, and an understanding of God’s love through Jesus. We want every teen to see their innate value to God and, therefore, to us! We want teens to uncover the unique gifts they have to offer to the world. Through fun events and activities, school visits, mentorship, and learning support, teens at Factory believe their journey matters and view their future story with hope and promise.

Open Door Nights

Open door nights provide a fun, upbeat, and safe environment where students can hang out and connect with one another. A free meal is always provided by community partners and a variety of fun activities are available to students including basketball, video games, karaoke, art, and more. Dedicated staff and volunteers interact with the students in a setting where they can cultivate impactful relationships of trust and support. These relationships offer the staff and volunteers the opportunity to show love, help, and care on an individual and consistent basis.

After School Program

Each week, students have the opportunity to build valuable skills and receive individualized academic support at our After School Program. This program includes a set time for homework completion where staff and volunteers are available to help students with any questions, assignments, or projects. In addition, students have opportunities to engage in resource development workshops as well as enjoy free time in a positive environment to connect with friends and volunteers. 

Step Up Incentive Program

Helping to facilitate our vision of connecting students with resources and developing valuable life skills, the Step Up Incentive Program rewards participating students as they work towards achieving their goals. Students have the opportunity to earn points for meeting objectives at school as well as for attending programs at the youth center. These points can then be redeemed at our Factory Store for items such as snacks, drinks, clothing, and more!

Resource Workshops

The Factory Youth Center’s vision is to offer more intentional workshops and support for the students. Workshops will focus on specific topics the teens are going through. Topics include, but are not limited to, depression, self-harm, drug and alcohol abuse, self-worth, and leadership development and training.

Special Events

Throughout the year, we offer many special events to our Youth Center teens including: Fall Barn Party, Christmas Party, Winter Retreat, Trip To Ozzy’s Fun Center, Summer Camp, and more! We also have weekly Basketball Nights and Pool Parties throughout the summer.
